7 Foreign Students' Dormitory

International Student House

The International Student House provides both a study and living environment for Japanese male students and foreign students of Nara University of Education. The south wing and the north wing were constructed between September 1993 and March 1994 for the purpose of education, research and promotion of international exchange.
This house has 40 single rooms for foreign students, with regular curriculum students being allowed to stay here up to 2 years. Research students who enter directly from overseas and those who have to relocate from another place in Japan to commute the university, are allowed to stay here for up to 6 months. Once these time limits have been reached, students have to leave the house. The lodging fee per month is about 20,000 yen including the cost of utilities.

Communal facilities: Japanese rooms, salon, library and study room, dining room, shower room, Japanese-style bath, washing machines, etc.
Room Facilities: Air conditioner, toilet, bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and bookcase
